Awards Rumyantseva and Mileninoy were the first for the national team at the Paralympics in Phenchhane
Russian biathlete Ekaterina Rumyantsev won gold at the Paralympics in 2018 in Phenchhane, showing the best result in the race at 6 km in the class of “standing”.
The distance she covered for 17 minutes, 6.1 seconds, with one penalty.
The second was another representative of the national team Anna Milenina, who lost to her compatriot 16.3 seconds without committing any inaccurate shot.
The winner of the bronze medal was a Ukrainian Lyudmila Lyashenko, with one penalty conceded Rumyantseva of 39.8 seconds.
Medals Rumyantseva and Mileninoy were the first for the Paralympic team of Russia at the Games in Phenchhane.
Paralympics 2018 in Pyeongchang runs from 9 to 18 March, the Russians are under a neutral flag.
