In the Russian football Premier League (RFPL) was another coach’s resignation. This time his job left steering “Krasnodar” Igor Shalimov, and the decision was made by the leadership of the bulls. Officially, the name of his successor will be named in the coming days, but according to media reports, the acting head coach will appoint Oleg Fomenko.
Igor Shalimov was appointed head coach in September 2016. In the previous season in the Premier League, “Krasnodar” finished fourth, and only under his leadership, the team played 66 games in which he scored 30 wins, 19 draws and lost 17 times.
“On 2 April 2018 the management of FC “Krasnodar” made the decision to resign from the post of head coach Igor Shalimov. The name of the new coach of the black and green will be named in the coming days,” – said in a statement on the official website of the bulls.
As reported by Sport24, the acting head coach of “Krasnodar” will be assigned to Oleg Fomenko, who previously held the position of assistant Shalimov.
Recall that after 24 matches of the championship of Russia “Krasnodar” occupies the 5th place in its 41 points. On the 4-th row is “Zenit” (42 points) and the blue-white-blue has a game in hand.
