– The international football Federation (FIFA) will conclude their talks with Qatar on the number of stadiums to be built for the 2022 world Cup to the end of the year, said the official representative of the organizing Committee of the world Cup in Qatar Khalid al Naama.
“The question about the number of stadiums will be solved soon, I think, after the world Cup in Russia until the end of the year,” said al Naama “Interfax” on Sunday.
As reported, Qatar had submitted in its bid to host the world Cup 12 new stadiums, however, are currently designed and built a total of eight, each of them designed for 40-60 thousand spectators. They are in various stages of readiness. One is already built, two will be commissioned before the end of the year, three before the end of next year, two before the end of 2020.
The representative of the organizing Committee said that Qatar considered sufficient to build eight stadiums, but ready to build another one if necessary. As for the 2018 world Cup, which will be held from June 14 to July 15, here will involve 12 stadiums in 11 cities.
