The IAAF refused the following athletes: Alexander Bushkova, Anastasia Kalashnikova, Julia Turova (walking), Alex Renkow, Tatyana Vilisova (both the long runs), Dmitry Zhelyabin (pole vault), Artem Lukyanenko (all-around), Elena Sokolova (long jump), Alexey Khudyakov (discus), Anastasia Borodulina (hammer throw).
