Investigators opened a criminal case against an employee of the UVD on the Moscow metro for “inciting hatred on the grounds of nationality with the use of the Internet”. It is reported by RBC with reference to sources in law enforcement bodies.

According to investigators, 35-year-old Sergeant commandant’s company of the UVD on the Moscow metro in February of 2009 registered in the social network “Vkontakte” under the name Volodymyr of sineko. However, he used the “unspecified technical means of exit in a telecommunication network the Internet”.

Under a false name the man repostnul video “Drunk Russian vs Uzbek” and published a review that included “psychological and linguistic signs humiliation of Russian as representatives of the group entities allocated on a national basis”.

Materials to attract the police to the criminal liability was collected by the staff of Department of management of FSB across Moscow and Moscow region, said the interlocutor of RBC. The measure of restraint against the Sergeant was not elected.

Recall that in 2016 Tver mechanical engineer Andrew Bubeev received two years and three months in prison for the repost of the article about the annexation of Crimea to Russia. After serving the prescribed time, he left Russia.
