– Court of arbitration for sport in Lausanne (CAS) overturned the decision of UEFA to ban Italian football club “Milan” to participate in draws of the European Cup.
Milan was punished for violating the rules of financial Fair play, but challenged the decision of UEFA. Under the new President the club in April 2017 have spent on buying players of around 270 million euros.
CAS lifted the ban and invited UEFA to impose a different disciplinary sanction.
Now the Italian club, which won promotion to the group stage of the Europa League, will be able to participate in the tournament.
