The murder of the head of DNR Alexander Zakharchenko is a provocation, said the representative of the Kremlin, Dmitry Peskov, reports TASS. The incident will entail “very negative” consequences for the situation in the Donbas, indicates the Kremlin.
“The death of Zakharchenko, of course, leads to increased tension in the region, which in itself is, of course, is not conducive to the formation of the conditions for entering at least the prospect of beginning the implementation of the Minsk agreements”, — said Peskov.
According to the representative of the Kremlin, the murder of the head of the DNI should be regarded as a provocation.”Of course, this is a provocation, which has very negative consequences for the overall atmosphere in the region and obviously it is not conducive to the settlement process”, — said Peskov. However, he noted that investigators have yet to figure out who exactly was behind the assassination.
