“RUSADA this year has recorded 113 violations of anti-doping rules

– More than 100 anti-doping rule violation was registered on 1 September of the current year, said General Director of the Russian anti-doping Agency Yuri Hanus at a press conference on Tuesday.

“Last year there were 59 violations of September 1 was already 113 violations. Last year was 170 violations of the rights of accessibility (of an athlete for doping control), now such violations are already more than 200. Us this alarming situation,” he said.

According to him, RUSADA for the year took nearly 6.2 thousand anti-doping tests.

“During the year we took 6196 samples, with a planned demand 6 thousand. We have fulfilled the targets,” – said Hanus.

“We built the work on the planning of the doping test,” he said.

“We thank our partners, who last year helped us with sampling. At the end of the year, the percentage of sampling by our partners amounted to 60-70 %. He said that RUSADA, which has not yet reinstated, cooperates with 13 foreign organizations.

“This is confirmation of our commitment: we are working with 13 international anti-doping organizations. We conducted sampling for Canadians – hockey players, and hockey for Canada – a sacred cow. Now we work for USADA, the scope of cooperation expands, trust us”, – he said.
