The most probable candidate on a post of the presidential envoy in the Volga Federal district is the former head of “Roscosmos”, the Deputy Minister of science and higher education, Igor Komarov, told RBC sources

Deputy Minister of science and higher education Igor Komarov is seen as a candidate to the post of presidential envoy in Volga Federal district and is the most likely candidate for the post, told RBC a source close to the presidential administration, confirmed two people close to the Kremlin, and a source familiar with the discussion of candidates.
Previously, as candidates for the post of presidential envoy in the Volga RBC sources called Senator Lyubov Glebova, the former Minister of agriculture Alexander Tkachev, Deputy head of the government of Yevgeny Zabarchuk.
Candidate Komarov arose quite unexpectedly, more recently, to the post of Ambassador, he was not considered, said one of the interlocutors RBC. The appointment may take place in the near future, likely this week, added another close to the presidential administration the source of RBC.

On may 24, during the St. Petersburg economic forum, according to the decree of the President Rogozin was replaced by Komarov in the post of Director General of “Rosatom”.
