Ukrainian border guards operating in the Azov and Black seas, will be reinforced by marine special forces. This was announced by the Chairman of the State border service of Ukraine Petro Cigital. His words are quoted by the press service of the Ministry.

The head of the Ukrainian state border service said that the objectives of his Department, in addition to law enforcement functions, including increased efforts in the East in response to Russia’s actions, including in the Azov and Black seas.

“I think that before the end of the year we will have about 1,000 personnel of our forces. And are intensifying our efforts at the naval commandos, and it was about 270 people, who will serve in the units at the Azov and Black seas,” — said Chical. “You need to understand that the aggressor, as they say, never sleeps, is stepping up its efforts, and we need to rebuff in case of any force majeure circumstances”, — he added.
